What is Invisalign®?
Invisalign treatment is a virtually invisible way to straighten your teeth. Invisalign uses a series of removable, see through aligners that have been specially created to perfectly fit your teeth and gradually and comfortably straighten them. Invisalign does this by using the advanced 3D computer-imaging technology in order to create aligners that are specific to you and your requirements.
Invisalign shows you your complete treatment plan based on your dentist’s prescription, from the initial position of your teeth towards the final desired position. Then a series of clear aligners are custom-made for your teeth to move them little by little.
Why choose Invisalign?
Invisalign aligners are nearly invisible and typically hardly anyone notices that you’re wearing them.
Each aligner is worn for about two weeks before being replaced by the next in the series.
Invisalign aligners are removable, therefore you can eat and drink what you want during treatment by simply removing the aligners.
You can also remove the aligners to brush and floss as you normally would to maintain your normal oral hygiene routine.
The Invisalign advanced system allows you to view your virtual results and treatment plan before you begin treatment, so you can see how your teeth are expected to look when your treatment is complete.
How much does Invisalign cost?
As with other types of orthodontic treatment, the cost of Invisalign treatment depends on the complexity of your teeth straightening issue and your course of treatment. Prices generally start at €3,600. At your initial consultation the dentist will confirm if you are suitable for Invisalign and will provide you with a treatment plan with all costs.
How long does the Invisalign treatment take?
During your consultation, your dentist can give you more detailed information as each case will differ depending on complexity. However, on average, it takes 6-8 months to complete treatment.
